Push not pull
Push not pullPush not pull
Messages can be pushed to an audience; if the presenter is charismatic, the message is accepted and the audience seem happy, but lasting change (and organisational benefit) is rarely achieved. The audience don't own the message, which often covers things they already know but don't apply.
We create training pull; the audience want the message and own the learning. The message is given in context, making it relevant to the audience and creating an 'aha' moment where the relevance and consequences of inaction are clearly highlighted.
